2. Booking and Reservation

2.1 Availability
Skip availability is subject to stock levels and may vary based on demand. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.
2.2 Age Requirement
Clients must be at least 18 years old to enter into a contract for skip hire services.
3. Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
3.1 Pricing
Our pricing is based on the size of the skip, the duration of hire, and the type of waste being disposed of. Additional charges may apply for overdue returns or prohibited items.
3.2 Late Payments
Late payments may incur additional fees. Accounts become overdue 30 days after the invoice date.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Clients may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring any charges. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a fee of 50% of the total hire cost.
4.1 Refunds
Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
5. Hire Period and Return
The standard hire period is typically 7 days, unless otherwise agreed upon during booking. Clients must ensure the skip is returned on or before the agreed-upon date.
5.1 Extensions
If an extension is required, clients must contact us at least 24 hours before the hire period ends. Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5.2 Overdue Returns
Failure to return the skip on time will result in additional daily fees until the skip is returned.
6. Use of Skips
Clients agree to use the skip in a safe and legal manner. The skip must be placed on stable ground and should not block access to public roads or sidewalks.
6.1 Prohibited Items
Any hazardous, illegal, or non-recyclable waste is strictly prohibited. Clients must not dispose of the following items in the skip:
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Electrical appliances
- Flammable liquids
- Batteries
- Medicines
6.2 Weight Restrictions
The skip has a maximum weight capacity. Clients must not exceed this limit to prevent damage and ensure safe transportation.
7. Liability and Insurance
Skip Hire Hillingdon is not liable for any damage caused to property or injury to persons resulting from the misuse of our skips. Clients are responsible for ensuring that the skip is used safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
7.1 Insurance
Clients are encouraged to have appropriate insurance coverage covering the use of the skip. The company holds liability insurance, but this does not cover misuse or unauthorized activities.
8. Alterations to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
